The Hidden Dangers in the Litter Box

Your cat’s litter box is more than just a place for them to do their business—it's a window into their health. Changes in litter box habits can be early indicators of serious issues that, if caught in time, can be treated before they escalate.

  • Increased Urination Frequency: This could be a sign of a urinary tract infection or even bladder stones, both of which require immediate attention.

  • Decreased Litter Box Use: If your cat is avoiding the litter box, it might be due to pain or discomfort, which could be linked to several underlying health conditions.

By paying close attention to these subtle changes, you can intervene early and potentially save your cat from significant pain and complications.

The Role of Weight Monitoring

A cat's weight is a critical indicator of their overall health. Sudden weight changes—whether gain or loss—can signal serious health issues that need immediate attention.

  • Weight Gain: Could be an early sign of obesity, leading to diabetes, arthritis, and other complications.

  • Weight Loss: Might indicate thyroid problems, kidney disease, or other metabolic conditions.

Regular weight monitoring is essential in ensuring your cat maintains a healthy weight, preventing a host of potential health issues down the line.

The Cost of Inaction

When it comes to your cat's health, inaction can be costly—not just in terms of vet bills, but in the quality of life for your beloved pet. The earlier you detect a problem, the more manageable and less expensive it is to treat.

  • Chronic Diseases: Undetected health issues can lead to chronic conditions, requiring long-term treatment and causing ongoing discomfort for your cat.

  • Increased Vet Bills: Emergency treatments for advanced health issues can be significantly more expensive than preventive care.

The peace of mind that comes from knowing you're doing everything you can to protect your cat's health is priceless.

Let Your Cat’s Voice Be Heard - Feniska Reveals What They Can’t Say

See what early customers from the first production batch say

Ana & Theo
Customers

Well, I’ll never be without Feniska again. It’s a game-changer for cat parents. Thank you for helping my Theo achieve a healthy weight!

Drew & Miezi
Customers

Most owners don’t realize their cats are suffering from an illness until it's significantly advanced, making treatment more challenging. That’s why I love Feniska. It helped us detect Miezi’s kidney issue early, and we’re now able to treat it effectively.

Cassie & Balou
Customers

The app alerted me 3 days in a row! So I decided to take my 10-year-old boy to the vet. It turned out he had some crystals in his bladder. Thankfully, we caught it early and were able to dissolve it with medication. Feniska Base IS WORTH EVERY PENNY—thank you so much!

FAQs

What if I have more than one cat?

With multiple pets, the Feniska Base can differentiate between cats if the correct reference weight is entered in the Feniska app. Make sure to enter the correct initial weight for each cat.

Does the Feniska Base work on any surface?

You can use the Feniska Base on various surfaces such as carpets, laminate, tiles, or hardwood floors. However, it is important to ensure that the Feniska Base is stable and not, for example, partially placed on the carpet.

I have multiple litter boxes

You can easily use multiple Bases in your home. The app will automatically recognize and assign the toilet visits to the correct cat, provided you have added both Bases in the app and created separate profiles for each of your cats.

Does the Feniska Base work with any litter box?

The dimension of the Feniska Base is: H x W x L: 2cm x 45cm x 45cm. It was designed to fit under most common litter box sizes.
